I’m Morgan Berrington and I have been obsessed with everything food since before I could reach the kitchen counter. I grew up in a house full of foodies and it was only destiny that cooking would not only be my passion but also my profession.

Being a self-professed foodie and working in the hospitality industry for the past 9 years has come with some consequences.   A low bank account, never enough book space, and love-handles! About 3 years ago, I made the decision to lose weight and begin a healthy lifestyle with the help of Weight Watchers.

I have been doing the juggling act between staying trim and enjoying all of life’s delicious treats ever since. My blog will  explore the balancing act of cooking satisfying, delicious, and healthy meals at home and indulging in the restaurant food scene that I love. All of my most recent recipes with include the “Points Plus” values for those of you who are also involved with Weight Watchers. (However, also double-check the points with your recipe builder online).

    Your mom told me about your blog. I love the pics and recipes. I can’t wait to try the figs and ricotta cheese dish. That sounds so delicious!
